I am the worlds best basketball player, and when I play people from all over the world come to watch me work my magic.  Not!!!!  But hey, it doesn’t hurt to dream.

Recently I started a new blog which I quickly lost interest in, but not from lack of traffic (viewers).  Initially to drive traffic to the fresh blog (sports related) I wrote the site address with a thick big black text-er on a sweatband and started wearing it to my games.

All-be-it I am not the worlds basketball player and there aren’t lots of people at our games in a local league in my town, but there is still a mathematical element to it which makes this a good idea to get some traffic to the site (advertising).

People always ask me what the sites about?  Of course I don’t tell them;  instead I say “go look at it yourself if you want to know”.  Hence deriving interest through suspicion.

Here’s the math side of it.  There are about 15-20 people participating in every game plus the score bench, referees and officials.  There is more than one court and maybe 20 spectators on each of those courts.

Now you do the math and times that by the 40 odd weeks we play every year.  So by just playing my sport and having fun I can advertise my site legally, it costs nothing, draws interest and I don’t really have to do anything!
